Corporate Training Course: Campus Network Solution

 

Overview

This hands-on training course provides you with the advanced knowledge, skills, and tools to achieve competence in installing, operating and troubleshooting a Campus Network. In this course, you will be presented with various types of technical problems. You will learn how to identify the problems and solve them through a systematic process. You will also learn about several operational, management, and troubleshooting tools.

 

Objectives

By the end of the course, you should be able to meet the following objectives:

• Establish and apply a structured troubleshooting approach and methodology
• Troubleshoot the Campus Network infrastructure and component issues
• Troubleshoot physical and logical networking issues involving switching and routing
• Troubleshoot advanced VPN services
• Troubleshoot network security issues
• Use relevant tools to monitor, operate, and troubleshoot Campus Network deployments

 

Prerequisites

• Understanding of layer 2-3 networking protocols, and switching and routing methodology
• Understanding of layer 4-7 network services

1. Setup and troubleshooting ZONE-1, the Simplified Internet Infrastructure

    • setup and troubleshooting 2 Internet Service Providers
    • setup and troubleshooting public email and web servers
    • setup and troubleshooting a public DNS server
    • setup and troubleshooting public DNS and web servers for certcana
    • setup and troubleshooting the BGP routing protocols between the ISPs

2. Setup and troubleshooting ZONE-2, the Head Office DMZ zone

    • setup and troubleshooting the FTP server for certcana

    • setup and troubleshooting BGP connections to the ISPs

3. Setup and troubleshooting Zone-3 and Zone-4, the Head Office internal network
